The Knutson family bought Cõsta Lotta Campground, located in Qualicum Beach - just north of Nanaimo, in 1980. After doing day charters and boat rentals in the 1980's and early 90's, we decided to combine Mom's fabulous culinary skills and the hot Coho and Chinook fishing into a complete ‘full meal deal.' 1994 saw the beginning of what is now Qualicum Rivers Resorts. The summer of 1999 was the first year that Qualicum Rivers Resort fished out of Winter Harbour and 2011 marks our 13th season on the wild West Coast. It has been a great 30 years, and we are definitely looking forward to the next 30 years.
